1945 – 2002, trained architect from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1978. Wojtek Depka Carstens was a very active member of the Danish architecture and design milieu, both trough his own practice, as a keen collaborator in exhibitions, as a member of Møbelgruppen, and as a teacher at the Aarhus School of Architecture. The shape was a recurring theme in his work, both as a designer and in his teachings. The shape clarifies the function, and it is the shape that sets the framework for the creative process.
